Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of Directors at Hearts & Hands United. Our board is made up of Christian women who are committed to prayer, community service, and restoring hope through love and action.

This is a serious volunteer position. While unpaid at this time, our long-term vision is to grow into a staffed nonprofit with paid positions and a permanent facility. Serving now helps lay the foundation for that future.

Please take time to pray and seek God's guidance about serving. We want each role to be filled by the women God is calling to this mission.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another." — Hebrews 10:24-25

Board Roles and Responsibilities

The Vice President supports the President in leading the organization, steps in when needed, and helps oversee major projects and partnerships.

The Treasurer manages finances, works closely with our bank manager, ensures accurate records, and upholds financial transparency.

The Secretary records meeting minutes, maintains organizational documents, and assists with communication and scheduling.

The Community Outreach Director connects with families and small businesses in need, oversees the application process, and builds relationships with local organizations.

The Fundraising and Events Director leads the planning and execution of fundraisers, banquets, and community events to raise support and awareness.

The Volunteer and Sponsorship Director coordinates volunteers, manages sponsor relationships, and ensures every supporter feels valued and appreciated.

Meeting and Commitment

We gather at least once a month for prayer, planning, and discussion. Most communication takes place in a private group throughout the month. We are building an unbreakable bond of faith and support—encouraging each other in the mission and beyond.
