Hearts & Hands United exists to walk alongside families and small businesses in Trumbull County, helping them overcome financial hardship, offering emergency relief, and creating opportunities for a brighter, faith-filled future.

We are driven by the belief that no one should face crisis alone. When neighbors help neighbors and communities unite in compassion, real transformation happens—one family, one business, one heart at a time.

What We Strive to Accomplish

Our goals are rooted in practical love and faithful action. We work to provide direct financial assistance for utility bills, rent, and housing needs by paying companies directly on behalf of those we serve. We support families by prioritizing those with infants, young children, and the most vulnerable members of our community.

We build strong partnerships with local churches, schools, businesses, and nonprofits because we believe collaboration multiplies our impact. Everything we do operates with transparency through community-driven funding and volunteer support.

We also encourage every family we help to consider paying it forward when they are able. This keeps the cycle of giving alive and ensures that hope continues to flow through our community.

How We Serve

Families and businesses who come to us must first apply for other available resources and demonstrate they have sought help elsewhere. Once those options are exhausted, Hearts & Hands United steps in to work directly with the bill or company on their behalf—negotiating lower balances and providing relief where others cannot.

We offer emergency support for utilities, rent and housing, and other critical needs. We connect people with local resources through our growing Trumbull County Relief Directory. For small businesses, we provide sponsorships, prayer, and community involvement to help keep their doors open.

Looking Ahead

Our vision extends beyond today's immediate needs. We plan to expand our relief efforts to include housing restoration and temporary housing programs. We are developing youth programs to empower the next generation in faith and leadership. We look forward to hosting annual banquets to honor our sponsors—the backbone of our mission.

In time, we hope to grow into sister missions in other counties, establish a permanent facility with paid staffing, and launch a full resource website with online applications to make help more accessible to everyone who needs it.

Together, with God at the center, we believe nothing is impossible.
